MATHY-TA is an oil additive for ATF oils in cars and commercial vehicles, for oils of visosity classes 0 to 50, and for use in automatic transmissions, and possibly also in power steering systems (e.g., ATF 1-3, Dexron or Mercon).

MATHY-TA optimizes gear changes in automatic transmissions. Starting jerks and run-time-related failures in automatic transmissions are minimized and eliminated. The aging stability of ATF oils is extended and abrasion is reduced.

Dosage

  • Replace 10% of automatic transmission oil with MATHY-TA transmission oil additive.
  • Use at least 10% MATHY-TA for all types of vehicles with automatic transmissions with and a mileage of 100,000 km (or 1,250 operating hours) and more. After 1,000 km (cleaning phase), change the transmission oil and again replace 10% of it by MATHY-TA

Application

Automatic Transmission

For an automatic transmission, replace 10 % of the transmission oil with MATHY-TA. For a mileage of more than 100,000 km (or 1,200 operating hours), or for a vehicle older than 5 years, we recommend a cleaning phase: Replace 10% of the transmission oil with MATHY-TA and drive for a distance of approximately 1,000 km. Perform an oil change and again add 10 % MATHY-TA (90% transmission oil + 10% MATHY-TA).

For power steering the oil change should be done within the expansion tank. Replace 10% of its content with MATHY-TA.

Manual Transmissions filled with ATF oils

These transmissions are common in Mercedes-Benz cars. Replace 10% of the ATF oil with MATHY-TA.

For a mileage of more than 100,000 km we recommend a cleaning phase: Replace 10% of the transmission oil with MATHY-TA and drive for a distance of approximately 1,000 km.
