MATHY EGR-Cure Diesel (only 1 x per year)

The easiest way to keep the exhaust gas recirculation system clean. MATHY-AGR is a highly effective exhaust gas recirculation valve cleaner (EGR valve) for diesel vehicles. Regular use of the diesel additive MATHY-AGR via the diesel fuel reduces the build-up of carbonaceous residues in the exhaust gas recirculation system and thus minimizes the need for repairs. Impurities are chemically broken down via the exhaust gas flow. Malfunctions caused by a contaminated EGR valve can thus be avoided in the long term.
The problem
Due to the increased proportion of biofuels in today's diesel fuels, frequent short trips (stop and go) and the introduction of the Euro 5 standard, the exhaust gas recirculation system is under permanent strain in addition to the entire diesel system. This load is reflected in the build-up of coking (combustion residues) on mechanically moving components in the exhaust gas flow. These impurities cause most malfunctions in the exhaust gas recirculation valve. In extreme cases, the EGR valve gets stuck and the engine goes into the emergency running program.
Step-by-step application
Simply add the contents of the can to the diesel fuel before refueling.

To start the EGR treatment, drive down to reserve and add a can of MATHY-D Diesel
System Cleaner to the tank before refueling. Now run the first cleaning cycle. During this phase, impurities in the combustion chamber and on the injection nozzles are removed.
When this cycle is complete, our MATHY-AGR Diesel Exhaust Gas Recirculation System Cleaner is used. To do this, please add a can of MATHY-AGR to the empty tank and fill it with 50 liters of diesel fuel. Empty the tank. Then fill the tank once without and then again with the MATHY-AGR fuel additive until all three cans of the treatment have been used up.
For an optimum cleaning cycle, we recommend a 30-minute highway drive with MATHY-AGR in the tank.
Important note:
Exhaust gas recirculation valves (EGR) that are already completely coked up can no longer be cleaned with MATHY-AGR. If the engine control light is already partially or permanently illuminated (yellow), MATHY-AGR cannot help here either. In these cases, the EGR valve must be removed or cleaned manually. We recommend using MATHY-AGR as a preventative measure!
