Transmissions are highly complex gearshifts that require perfect lubrication performance. How difficult it is to produce transmission oils is shown by the small number of providers. Only two manufacturers offer transmission oils. With this in mind, it was our development team‘s goal to significantly improve the lubricating performance of a given transmission oil. After 2 years of development this goal was reached.

Adding MATHY-TDG improves the lubricity of gearbox oils and optimizes gear changes. Thermal stress in warmer parts of the gearbox region is reduced and the stability of the transmission oil is increased.

Existing noise in the gearbox is minimized by MATHY-TDG and further wear is stopped. Cleaning components sustainably protect the gearbox, remove and then prevent impurities.

Dosage

Replace 10% of the DSG gear oil with MATHY-TDG.

Application

Replace 10% of the DSG gear oil with MATHY-TDG. For a mileage of less than 60,000 km perform a complete oil change. Then top off fresh gear oil with 10% MATHY-TDG

For a mileage of more than 60,000 km we recommend a cleaning phase plus oil change. For that, replace 10 % of the old transmission oil with MATHY-TDG and drive for a distance of 1000 km; no time restriction applies. After the cleaning phase drain the warm oil and refill with fresh transmission oil, containing 10% MATHY-TDG
