• 150 ml MATHY-SGR manual gearbox cleaner
• 1.0 l MATHY-T manual gearbox additive

The MATHY manual gearbox cleaning kit is used to clean and maintain manual gearboxes, rear axles and auxiliary drives. The cleaning set eliminates shifting problems (stick shifting), wear-related running noises and rear axle whine and extends the service life of the units. For optimum results, we recommend cleaning every 60,000 km.

Technical problems are reduced or eliminated

• Contamination in oil bores is removed
• Wear-related running noises are reduced
• Jerky gears become smoother again (softer)
• Internal friction is minimized
• Wear clearance on tooth flanks is compensated (increase in compressive strength)

Areas of application

The cleaning set can be used in all manual transmissions, differentials and auxiliary drives of cars, trucks, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, boats, motorcycles and industrial plants.

Dosage

For cleaning: MATHY-SGR Gearbox Cleaner (150ml) is sufficient for gearbox oil volumes of 3 to 6 liters.
For maintenance and wear reduction: Add 20% MATHY-T Manual Transmission Oil Additive (500ml) to the fresh transmission oil. Maximum addition to the transmission oil: 50%
Example at 20%: 2.5 liters oil volume = 2.0 liters gear oil + 500ml MATHY-T

How to use

Step 1: Cleaning with MATHY-SGR:
Carry out cleaning with the old gear oil. Add the can contents of 150 ml MATHY-SGR to the warm transmission/rear axle oil before changing the oil. Please ensure that the filling volume is not exceeded and drain off some transmission oil if necessary. After adding the oil, drive for 15 minutes and shift through all gears several times. Then change the transmission oil while it is still warm.

Step 2: Fresh oil filling with MATHY-T:
After cleaning and changing the oil, top up with fresh transmission oil + 20% MATHY-T transmission oil additive. MATHY-T becomes fully effective after approx. 1,500 km.
