The treatment is applied shortly before refueling without visiting a repair shop. The diesel combustion chamber treatment can be used in all diesel engines and diesel fuel types.

There is a lot going on in the combustion chambers of diesel engines. Frequent short trips (no longer than 20 minutes) and standard diesel fuels with an increased bio content cause the combustion chamber to become very “black.”

Soot deposits, also known as coking, build up on valves, piston heads, and injectors (fuel injectors) over time. These contaminants have a negative impact on fuel consumption, engine performance, and exhaust emissions. In such cases, workshops often replace the fuel injectors, but this is not always necessary.

Preventive use of diesel additives prevents soot build-up in the combustion chamber and protects technical components from defects.

With annual use, you protect your diesel engine from damage and prevent costly repairs. Replacing the injectors always results in high repair costs (injectors up to €800).

Important note

For frequent city driving and short journeys, we recommend following up with cleaning using the MATHY AGR and MATHY DPF treatments. After using the first three treatments, we recommend carrying out the MATHY Diesel Complete Treatment at least once a year.

Step-by-step application

Simply add the contents of the can to the diesel fuel before refueling.

To keep the diesel system functioning properly in the long term, we recommend using MATHY-D and MATHY-ID. Both products are designed for use in 50 l of diesel fuel.

To start the treatment, add one can of MATHY-D (250 ml) to the empty tank and fill it with a maximum of 50 l of diesel. Then drive until the tank is almost empty. Then fill the tank once without MATHY-D and then again with MATHY-D until all three cans have been used. Next, apply MATHY-ID (200 ml) for the first time. Again, run the tank down to the reserve volume, add one can of MATHY-ID and refill with 50 liters of diesel fuel.

The diesel treatment is now complete.

If possible, use a premium diesel fuel (such as ARAL ULTIMATE DIESEL) for the entire treatment. This will improve the cleaning result.

For an optimal cleaning cycle, we recommend a 30-minute drive on the highway with MATHY-D diesel additive in the tank.
