Durch Frequent short journeys and the increased biofuel content in current diesel fuels result in massive emissions of carbon compounds during the combustion process. This so-called soot contaminates several areas in the diesel engine. The entire combustion chamber, including valves, piston crowns, and injectors, the exhaust gas recirculation system, including the EGR valve, and the diesel particulate filter are affected. Over time, the contaminants build up in the individual systems and very often lead to malfunctions during operation.

A breakdown always results in high repair costs (up to €1,400, depending on the component).

Step-by-step application

Simply pour the contents of the can with the diesel additive into the tank before refueling.

    4. Tank filling withoute
    5. Tank filling 1 can of MATHY-EGR | Exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR valve) cleaner
    6. Tank filling 1 can of MATHY-DPF | Diesel Particulate Cleanerr

To keep the entire diesel system functioning properly in the long term, we recommend using our diesel fuel additives MATHY-D, MATHY-ID, MATHY-AGR, and MATHY-DPF. All products are designed for use in 50 liters of diesel fuel..

To start the treatment, add one can of MATHY-D (250 ml) to the empty tank and fill it with a maximum of 50 l of diesel fuel. Then drive until the tank is almost empty. Next, fill the tank once without diesel additive and then with MATHY-ID (200 ml). Fill the tank again without additive. Next, use MATHY-AGR (300 ml). Again, run the tank down to the reserve volume, add one can of MATHY-AGR, and refill with 50 liters of diesel fuel. Finally, add one can of MATHY-DPF (300 ml). The diesel treatment is now complete.

If possible, use a premium diesel fuel (such as ARAL ULTIMATE DIESEL) for the entire treatment.

For an optimal cleaning cycle, we recommend a 30-minute drive on the highway with MATHY additive in the tank.
